Importing Data From Your Old Software
Did you transfer from another software system and want to import your client demographic information? We provide a custom software service that converts your CSV or Excel file containing client information, into a new My Clients Plus account that you create.
Here’s how it works:
You export your existing client data into a CSV or Excel file format, and encrypt the file with a password. You can send us the encrypted file in an email, but don’t send the password. If you use Windows, you’ll need a program like PKZIP, WinZip or 7-Zip that supports the .ZIP standard. If you use a Mac or Linux you won’t need additional software. Give us a call when you’re ready to send us the encrypted file so we have all your information, including the password.
There is a one-time fee of $150 for this service if you cancel your account within the first 60 days. Otherwise, it’s free. That’s why we recommend that you set up your free trial account, get familiar with My Clients Plus, maybe even participate in a webinar. When you’re confident that we’re the right solution for you, then we’ll go to work importing your data.
